Week 15, Lesson 30, Thursday
Link events with когда́, and promise results
With the two kinds of verb, когда́ can mean while or after. And a result verb has a surprise: its present-looking form already means the future.
1Recap 5 minutes
Three questions from Monday, before anything new.
2Goal 1 minute
I can link two events with когда́, promise a result for tomorrow, and say what I must do.
3The lesson 20 minutes
In this lesson
- During, or after
- The future of result verbs
- Must: до́лжен
During, or after
Two sentences with когда́, drawn as time. Look at the bars before you read the rule.

| Когда́ я прочита́л кни́гу, я написа́л письмо́. | When I had finished the book, I wrote a letter. (one result, then another) |
The future of result verbs

| написа́ть | напишу́ | напи́шешь |
| сде́лать | сде́лаю | сде́лаешь |

| вы́учить | вы́учу | вы́учишь |
| сдать | сдам | сдашь |
No бу́ду: Я прочита́ю кни́гу за́втра. Compare Я бу́ду чита́ть, I will be reading.
